For users who value wireless CarPlay from an existing wired factory connection, the iHeylinkit X9 adds wireless phone integration to vehicles equipped with compatible factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto. Phone positioning data is used for navigation because the adapter does not add a separate GPS receiver. Once connected to a compatible vehicle, the adapter removes the need to plug in the phone cable for every routine trip. iHeylinkit X9 converts compatible factory wired CarPlay to wireless CarPlay while preserving the original infotainment controls. Compatibility begins with factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto, so the exact vehicle should be checked in advance. Online updating is supported for firmware maintenance.
