Wi-Fi 5 at 5GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 support the wireless link while the vehicle screen and original controls remain in use. With the iHeylinkit M3, drivers can add wireless phone projection on the factory screen to vehicles equipped with compatible factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto while retaining the original infotainment screen and head unit. The upgrade keeps the factory screen, touch controls, rotary controller, and steering-wheel controls available for familiar operation. Online updating is supported for firmware maintenance. Power and data come through the confirmed USB connection arrangement for this model. A compatible wired factory interface is required, and vehicle-specific testing may still be needed before purchase.
